Cardona-Hine's Museum Paintings

In 1996, Cardona-Hine was given a one-man exhibition at McAllen International Museum in McAllen, Texas. The museum director, Terry Melton, chose a series of very large and deeply moving paintings, nine of them based on the Egyptian myth of Isis Osiris, and the rest inspired by Buddhist sutras. The exhibit was titled Mythic Paintings.

Two of the series are in private collections; the remainder are in the artist's possession. Because so few people have gotten to see this work, we have decided to display it here. We will add one painting at a time until all, including the two that are already sold, are on exhibit.

While the remaining paintings are available for purchase, we will not sell them via the site. Interested parties should contact the gallery either by phone (866-692-5070) or support@cardonahinegallery.com.
