As I was painting the Egyptian paintings series, I saw the transparency that had existed in earlier times between man and the rest of creation.
Searching for God, man found him everywhere, even in animals. This was a time before alienation.

Osiris as a goat god unites two fields of awareness.

Painted like all but one of the Egytian mythic paintings in 1989, it measures 66 x64.
