Having lived now for twenty three years in a village nestled below the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, the artist has recently begun a series of paintings of the mountains. This artwork is the first in that series. Sometimes the light of the day simply falls down the slopes almost like water. It bathes everything in its path in that shining.
