Los Ojos de los Habitantes Callados means The Eyes of the Silent Inhabitants and refers to the whales and creatures who dwell in the ocean. Painted in 2007 while the artist vacationed and worked in Todos Santos, Baja California, Mexico, it is the artist's expression of the wonder and mystery of the sea. Measuring 34 x 34 inches, it is done in acrylic on canvas. Its blues are stunning, and the feeling it generates is of the silence and presence of half-seen creatures.
