The artists lived for almost 12 years in Minneapolis/St. Paul, and, during those years, often drove through the Midwest--Kansas, Nebraska, Iowa--to come to New Mexico. For someone born near the Atlantic Ocean, the plains, that vast openness of the Midwest, took the place of the ocean, just as in New Mexico, the mountains overlooking Truchas have also done. "Plain's Song" is a celebration of that land. The giclee is available in small at about 12" x 19" at $195.00 and also in the larger edition, about 21" x 26" at $350.00. |
