Enjoy original fine art landscapes and seascapes by Barbara McCauley. 

All of McCauley's paintings are acrylics on canvas and are usually stretched on medium stretcher bars which are about 1.75" deep, allowing the collector the choice of framing it or leaving it as it is to "float" on the wall, this latter being the artist's preference. Her paintings are in collections all over the United States and in Europe and Australia. She is well known for her boldly colored and light-filled canvasses and giclee art prints.
Her landscapes in acrylic have evolved over time, the earlier picture of landscape art depicting views of the New Mexico countryside, and sometimes recalling the scenery of her native New England with old barns and houses, but in either case, always with a feeling of the weather, the place, the time of day and a sense of absence as presence.
Her later land and pictures of seascapes have increased in the boldness of both color and brush work with a greater freedom of expression and composition.
